Preparation
STEP 1
PREHEAT the oven to 350˚F.
STEP 2
WHISK together in a bowl the hoisin sauce, ketchup, honey and soy sauce until combined and set aside.
STEP 3
ADD the ribs to a large bowl and season by rubbing them with the Chinese 5-spice salt and pepper.
STEP 4
PLACE the ribs side by side in an ALCAN® Non-Stick Lasagna Pan, baste them with a small amount of the honey-hoisin sauce, place on a non-disposable baking sheet for support and bake in the oven on 350˚F for 2 ½ hours. They will become dark in color and the meat will easily pull away from the bone when they’re finished.
STEP 5
BASTE the ribs every 20-25 minutes or until the sauce is gone.
