Grilled Fruit Skewers

Ingredients

For fruit skewers:

angel food cake cut into 2 inch cubes

strawberries cleaned and hulled

pineapple cut into 2 inch cubes

⅓ cup of dark chocolate chips

ALCAN^® Non-Stick BBQ Buddy^®

For honey-lime glaze:

¼ cup of honey

½ of a lime with juice and zest

Preparation

STEP 1

THREAD a strawberry, pineapple and cake on a skewer, repeating two more times per skewer. Heat the honey and lime juice in the microwave for 30 seconds and brush on each skewer.

STEP 2

PLACE the fruit skewers on ALCAN^® Non-Stick BBQ Buddy^® on the grill. Cook on low, turning the skewers to evenly brown on all sides.

STEP 3

ONCE they are browned, remove them from the grill. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for 45 seconds and drizzle the melted chocolate on the fruit skewers.

STEP 4

SERVE and enjoy!
