Preparation
STEP 1
PREHEAT the oven to 375˚F.
STEP 2
COOK the bacon in a large pot on high heat until crispy and brown.
STEP 3
REMOVE the bacon from the pot once cooked and browned and set aside. Add in the onions and butter and cook for 4-5 minutes on medium heat.
STEP 4
ADD the flour into the pot with onions and butter and stir together and cook for 2 more minutes.
STEP 5
WHISK the milk into the pot until combined and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes or until it begins to become thick.
STEP 6
FINISH the mixture by whisking in the grated Swiss cheese, salt and pepper.
STEP 7
FOLD in the bacon and sliced brussels sprouts to the pot and then pour the mixture into an ALCAN® Non-Stick Square Cake Pan.
STEP 8
SPRINKLE the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese to the top of the creamy brussels sprouts.
STEP 9
PLACE ALCAN® Non-Stick Square Cake Pan on a non-disposable baking sheet for support. Bake in the oven on 375˚F for 30 minutes or until the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese are golden brown.
STEP 10
SERVE hot.
